The Cricket Pitch, built to County cricket standard, is situated in front of the main building and is set down in bowl shaped sheltered surroundings.
Five outdoor nets with an all weather surface are also available to hire.
Spectators will find viewing excellent from the surrounding banking or from one of the two balconies located outside the Cornwallis Suite and Long Room. The facilities are available for hire for all day, afternoon, or evening fixtures.
Changing rooms, showers, catering and the Long Room with its’ bar are without equal making Horntye Park a venue which is the envy of the region.
The outfield can also be hired for other uses such as Junior Football, stoolball, volleyball, bubble football, Student use, school sports days etc.
