Horntye Park is home of the Hastings Priory Cricket Club who enjoy the overall facilities of the venue.
Horntye Park provides for Cricket with:
- County standard Cricket Ground
- Senior Sussex League Cricket
- Non League Club Games
- Inter Business Challenge match competitions
- Ladies Matches
- Inter School Challenge matches
- Junior and Colts Matches
- Small Cricket pitch (for lesser standard requirements)
- Net tunnels for training / practice
Horntye Park boasts superb changing room facilities with full
toilets and showering, for both teams. There is also a separate
umpire changing room with toilet and showers.
Scorers box with electronic control to score board.
Perimeter car parking for easy viewing of any games.
Bar and Catering at all times.
Football
Horntye Park is home of Hastings Town Youth 2000 who cater for children between 5 years to 18. They both train and play competitive games of Football at the Complex.
Horntye Park provides for football with:
- All Weather Pitch with full floodlighting (Astro Turf)
- Full size football pitch or 4 x 5 a side games.
- Indoor sports hall pitch sized at 36m x 18m ideal for training purposes or 5 a side Football.
The Sports field is marked out to provide 3 various sized football pitches at present used for age groups 6 to 15 years.
Changing and shower rooms with toilets are of high class as is parking for the adults that accompany the children.
There are buffet snacks and refreshments available at all time.
You do not have to be a member or belong to a club to play or train for football at Horntye Park. Just turn out and enjoy your recreation.
There are several coaching academies that organise full weekly coaching sessions throughout the year, such as SAFA and Universal Soccer Coaching. These are ideal for expanding children.s skills and techniques in an environment, which is conducive to learning.
Hockey
Horntye Park is the home base of South Saxons Hockey Club, who support 5 Men.s teams, 2 Junior, 1 Men.s Veterans and 3 Ladies teams.
Horntye Park provides for Hockey with a floodlit .(Astro Turf) . All Weather pitch, full size for league and cup hockey matches.
Indoor Hockey within sportshall ( 36m x 18m) with full lighting and is primarily used for friendly play and training / practice schedules.
Match days are held every Saturday during the season:
Ladies and Gentlemen.s changing / showering and toilet facilities are available at all times, as are the referees changing rooms.
The Astro turf area is protected with high-level mesh fencing for external security and has sound softened boarding to enable reduction in noise.
Hockey is also played, in addition to South Saxons Hockey Club by

- Individuals for practice purposes
- Inter Business challenge match competitions
The Astro turf / All weather pitch has good visual vantage points for spectators and is well placed for access to refreshments bar and catering facilities.
